I got this gun At the same gunshow I got the Victory model from. A model 27. SN. S2081xx. This makes two 4 screw N frames I've picked up in as many gunshows. Prior to this I have never saw one for sale at a show or a shop. Guess it's just my time to start finding them.

I still think those Rosewood, football cutout target grips it had on it are correct for a 1973 shipped gun. But, if you like the magnas...

Nice find and beautiful gun, buddy.

Those old grips will go in the woodpile after a little clean up. They sure are dark looking with some open grain here and there. I wonder what kind of wood are they made out of?

Thank BHO for that, lots of folks are parting with their old friends for a little bread, gunsaleman of the year 5 years running, I would laugh, but I'm still in sackcloth and ashes?
