... well, last Sunday that is. Not sure why, but I was reading and then felt like making a quick video. It's politically neutral so I hope it's okay to share here.

I just came to think of our nation and what happened to us.

I feel like I want to say so much, but I don't command the English language as I need to in order to bring my point(s) across. I also feel like no one is listening because we are already knee deep into something we shouldn't be in.

My wife gets sad sometimes, almost crying, saying this is not the U.S. she grew up in and it's certainly not the U.S. she swore to defend for over 20yrs.

Activists and politicians want to polarize, sure. But unfortunately, the people just eat it up, get even more opinionated and start hating each other. Really?! No research? No questioning? No nothing? Just go with whatever is being said?!

Don't we have values anymore? Are other people telling us what to think, what to feel and how to treat each other? I don't get it...

Do you remember the scene in Rocky IV when Ivan Drago enters the ring?

Now don't laugh, but when I was a little kid, growing up in Europe, I thought this happens every time you enter into any business establishment in America. Everybody is friendly and proud and red, white and blue everywhere.

This is what I want for this country, American pride. We need to respect each other and ourselves! This has really nothing to do with a political view, because this is what the 1A is really about, right? We don't have to hate each other because we have different opinions, do we?!

Hell, back then they had different opinions and were backstabbing each other in Congress already. Jefferson as VP undermined Adams quite a lot (even though they had a good time in France together and Adams picked Jefferson as his VP), but both still remained friends and - this really gets me - died on the same day, exactly 50yrs after signing the Declaration of Independence. And they both thought the other one is going to surpass them. Crazy.

Is there a way to turn this around? I think there is, we just have to get to work!
