Sent my Taurus 441, 3 inch .44 Special, to Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T", and it came back with an amazing trigger. Before it had a very heavy, 17 1/2 lbs, trigger pull and now it has a smooth 8 3/4 lbs pull. Single action went from 4 1/2 to 3 1/4 and is very crisp. The gun also had a target trigger and hammer and Teddy removed the sharp rear corners of the hammer and polished the trigger where both outside edges are smooth and the middle ridges are greatly reduced. He also jeweled the front and rear of the cylinder, the internal frame and inside side plate. Everything except the action job and spring cost were free. Cost, $188.00 plus shipping.

Your pics are slightly out of focus, so it's a bit hard to tell what's what, but congratulations. Unlike many here I like Taurus revolvers.

Nice. It's true that Taurus revolvers get little respect around here but my most carried (woods walking) and most used revolver is my blued 4" 441. Snake shot and 250 LSWC in the summer, 250 LSWC in cold weather and same for home protection and travelling in the car. Never a problem with this gun and it is certainly my most versatile. Been thinking about an action job for years and now I know who to contact if I don't try it myself/

Very nice. No problem with Taurus here. I've got a stainless Model 605 that I'd put up against any J-frame.

In the mid 90's I bought a used Taurus 44 Special blue w/adjustable sights. removed 2 coils from the hammer spring and it was fantastic. Only cost me 15 minutes. For carry ammo I used Winchester STHP.
2019 traded it in on a 2 3/8" 629. A whole different animal!

Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T", Is an icon here in the Houston area. I have not seen Teddy for a while. I’m glad he is still doing what he does so well. Great man. He does excellent work. Did a job on a 1911 for me years ago.
I have little experience with Taurus but I own a Rossi 44 special that is an outstanding firearm and is a great outdoor carry piece. 44 Shotshells for those east tx copperheads you come across from time to time.

Oh, I agree 110%. Porting is fine on competition firearms and even some hunting firearms, but for a compact handgun that might have to be fired while held very close to my body... no thanks!
I picked up a Sig P220 in 38 super that bore the Teddy Jacobson/Actions by "T" logo on the barrel. I had to google to see who that was and found his website.
To be honest, I cannot tell much difference in the trigger pull of this P220 and other P series pistols in my modest collection, but it is nice. One thing I appreciated was his expression of catering to law enforcement needs with priority.

Can say I regret selling only one (1) Taurus - anything, and that was a M441 SS, 4" adjustable sight, full-lug barrel, 5-shot .44 Spl.
It was a woods gun, and used on many trail and scouting trips.
Had an ammo slide with a mix of shotshells and 250 gr LSWC 'Skeeter Loads', which it shot fine.
It was approximately K to L frame. I'd done my own simple trigger/action job on it.
Wish I'd not sent it away.

Interesting comment, Old Corp. I had thought this Taurus frame mirrored the Smith K. Really wish S&W had picked up on this, the way they picked up on the Judge. A 5-shot bull bbl fixed sight K-frame in 44 Spl: I could have lived with that! Prolly just a pipe dream.

I sold my 441 4in so I could by my 696 no dash. I bought the same 441 back because the 696 is getting to expensive to replace.
