Believe me, a great many of us of a certain age, husbands and wives alike, have been and are "there" and dealing with all the issues. It's the hand those of us of a certain generation, upbringing and religious and moral outlook have been dealt.

FWIW, I've had that same opinion of Mama Smithfan for several decades now. Had our first date in Fall of 1960; married for about 43 years now.
We've raised kids, love and enjoy our grandkids, weathered boom times and busts, jobs and layoffs, and are doing the best we can with the aging, medical and other issues of very elderly parents, aunts and uncles, and those dear family friends similarly situated.
