N frame grip stocks, question

I believe these stocks with the speed loader cutouts were made available for N frames about 1981.

I am not sure when the black washers appeared..?

Do these both look like Goncalo Alves.. the one on the left is a lighter brown color whereas the one on the right has a reddish tint.

Both look like walnut to me.

My vote is Goncalo Alves for both. I think the timeframe for the speed loader cut out is a little later than 1981. The black washers went away about 1971. You might like this link for reference:

The info also answered another question I had regarding "no metal washers" on the back….

"1983-1992 , checkered speed loader cutout; between June-July 1985 the metal washers are removed".
