Love both my L & N frames for hunting whitetails in PA, but wearing a pair of insulated leather shooting gloves is pretty much a requirement for sitting in a tree stand all day long with a revolver or a lever gun for that matter.
Problem is, unless the glove is super tight, it can (and has, for me) hindered full trigger return as I shoot DA all the time, even hunting.
What is needed is a slightly bigger trigger guard with room for gloves. I seen old pictures of custom S&Ws with such trigger guards, but I believe those pics dated back to the 30s.
