Hmmmm....I must have missed something..When I hear the word Narco, I think of my first radio....(in my first airplane that is)..It was a "NARCO" VHT-3 Omnigator....

NARCO..National Aeronautical Corporation of Ft. Washington, Pa...Founded in 1945. and named by a Mr. Wolfgang Sehedia.

I would have watched the TV about NARCO, but I don't get Netflix.:(

I watched the original first two seasons about Pablo Escobar. Very well made and largely staying within the historical facts, although they did employ some composite/fictionalized characters.

By the time I tried to start watching Narcos: Mexico, I had already seen and read about the Camarena story in various forms, and also recently read Don Winslow’s books, so I likely overdosed a bit on Mexican cartels and never got into that series. Need to get back for another run at it.

Oh, and while we’re on the topic of TV shows about international drug dealers, here’s one I can recommend, since you’re accustomed to subtitles now. Actually, I think it does have an English dub track.

Not quite as violent as Narcos, more a re-make of Breaking Bad with nerdy German teenagers :D

You don't "watch" Narcos and Narcos Mexico, you read it. That's the most annoying part. I get they're in Mexico and Columbia and they're all speaking Spanish. They could start like Hunt for Red October did, with subtitles, and then switch to English. "Dark" is a German series, but it's dubbed, with English subtitles for the newspaper headlines and such.

I did not think much of El Chapo. Narcos was much better done.

We watched both "Narcos" and "Narcos: Mexico". Especially enjoyed the original series as I worked on some of the cases that were peripherally referred to, and worked alongside one or more of the agents mentioned (by actual name).

Also have direct knowledge of the issues arising from butting heads with the CIA in regard to international narcotics trafficking.

The show was well done overall.

Will continue to follow the Narcos: Mexico saga as it continues.
