Native American Food

To be truly Native throw out fry anything and stewed anything ina cast pot. Traditional food was cooked in a skin bag with liquids and hot rocks dropped in the bag. Spit roasting may have been done as well as cooking on a rock. Make that bread with amaranth or grass seeds. I am surprised at the sweetness of Ponderosa pine inner bark and Camas bulbs. I am glad I live now rather than 500 years ago.
