NC Bill to require photograph on Concealed Carry Permit

I don't see a problem with this. If you have one now without a photograph, no one's going to make you come in and get a new one with a photograph. It might be years before you have to have your picture taken. There are much more important things to obsess over when it comes to gun rights.

I suspect most of our NC residents are now aware of this. Seems like a minor issue to me, since the Michigan CPL has required a photo since shall issue became law in 2001. We’re also require to carry a DL or State ID when carrying. Fortunately, the State now uses the DL or ID photo on the CPL, so there’s no inconvenience or additional cost.

I also suspect we’ll have some more serious threats to our 2A rights in the near future. Choose your battles wisely!
