Does anyone here have a NDZ slide cover plate for your SD9VE? They have a lot of designs available.

I have one. In fact it's the only thing I have or will replace or change out on my SD9VE. As I am now a retired LEO, it is a self defense pistol, and I am a sheepdog at church. I have Psalm 23:4 on it: Yea even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

I want one with either the Texas star, or the outline of the state of Texas. Then there is the one with the Navy anchor...and the one with "U.S. Veteran." I guess I could get them all, and switch them around!

The only other thing I plan to change is the rear sight...I'm going to replace the stock one with the M&P rear sight.

Nice! I was kind of thinking about getting the cover plate with Matthew 5:9 or Psalms 82:4 on it.

I was wondering if anyone thought of putting a layer of clear coat nail polish to keep it from fading. I have pslams 82:4 on my magazine plate and it's starting to fade away.

I was wondering how durable the slide cover plate is...not the plate itself, but the image. I wonder how it stands up to wear and cleaning products.

Well when you consider they are metal, not polymer, the image or lettering is laser engraved. I'd say they should hold up pretty good.

Thanks! I think I'll buy one...$20 isn't that much to risk!
