Need 40 Cal Info Please

Hey everybody -
Are there any other 40s out there besides the CS40, SW99/40, and the 40SVE? My son is looking for a blue 40 Cal and wants to stick with S&W. I looked at a 4006 CHP turn in that was in great shape, but he doesn't want Stainless. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

They made a 4004 that was blued and the compact version, 4014. Good luck finding one though!!!

I'm with the others, an M&P40. I'm not much of a plastic pistol person but I do LOVE my M&P!

If he wants to stick with a 3rd Gen, S&W made a 411 value gun. Pretty close to a 4006 with simpler sights and a little less refinement.

And somehow in my prior post I forgot about the S&W 410. It's a value line gun; but it is .40S&W, very capable and all black.

There is also a 4040PD which is a blued scandium alloy frame. They can be hard to find, but not as hard as a 4004 or 4014. The M&P 40 is also a great suggestion.

I'd take a look at the 411 and 4040PD. Superb semi auto's. Better triggers than any M&P, and can be found for less $ too. Regards 18DAI.

I think he's decided on a 410 or 411. He's seen some on GB.com. He really does not want a complsite frame gun or stainless because he likes my 469 so much. I'm having a hard time getting it back from him. I've just been shooting my 9VE so its ok. I'm sure he'll be the winning bidder on one of the 410/411s.
