Need a magazine spring retainer for 15-22

Today I was cleaning one of my 10 round mags and I launched a retainer across my garage. Can I get them from S&W or does the aftermarket have them? Note: I need the piece that the end of the spring fits into before you slide the floor plate on the mag.

I don't know of anywhere you can buy just the retaining plate (the part between the spring and the base plate). Four options off the top of my head:

1) find the one that got away
2) make one, looks like it can be done
3) call S&W and see if they will send you one
4) substitute one that is similar from another magazine (may have to modify)

Yep, I'm going to start with S&W then go from there. My garage is a jungle so I dont hold much hope for that route. If anybody knows of a aftermarket source let me know. Thanks.

Call S&W they will send you one. I lost my spring for a 9mm mag, and they replaced it at no charge.

So I call S&W Cust Svc today... was on hold for about 15 mins but spoke to a gal named "Sierra" she asked me for the 15-22 Serial Number, looked up the part and said they'd send it no charge. Then she said "If that dosent work let us know and we'll replace the magazine". Wow! Wish all C/S was so helpful.
