What would be the approximate value of a model 12-2 4 inch square butt, mint condition?

A question which is little difficult to answer. Some will not touch a Model 12 due to its (sometimes) breakage-prone alloy frame. That doesn't bother others at all, provided it's not already cracked.

Check under the barrel on the frame and make sure there is no crack on it I bought a few of them from the shooting times writer who is a forum member and paid $475.00 roughly each, with boxes and papers, I carry one every day a 12-3 and never worry about it, At the range I do not shoot +p out of it and have never had an issue, I love th weight frame size for carry. there are couple of them in this picture.
