Welcome to the Forum. First, I am assuming that your revolver has an exposed hammer. S&W also made a 32 hammerless.
Never say never, but S&W did not make a 1 1/2" barrel length 32 Double Action revolver. The barrel is most likely cut, which reduces greatly any value you might have. That serial number would have shipped from the factory most likely in 1901. As you can tell from the serial number, the company made a ton of these guns, over 327,000 of them to be more specific. This model sells for low values, partly because of how common they are, but also because the collectors out there are not concentrating on the 32 DA.
Sometimes, there is a certain appeal to a snub-nosed top break, but as modified, probably would not bring $200 if offered for sale.
Post a couple of pictures if you can.
