Guys, I own striker fired pistols and all are either tennifer or melonite. I was thinking about soaking them in oil and then use a zip lock bag to keep in my vault. Any suggestions?

No to the ziplock bag.

How long are we talking when you say long term? What sort of climate will they be stored in?

Typically if I know I won't be shooting a gun for a while I simply clean the gun thoroughly like normal. Then dip a patch in grease or oil and lube the bore and chamber/s. Then I put it in a gunsock and away she goes. I have stored guns like this in a climate controlled environment for years.

Clean it good, oil the bore and chamber lightly, lube the rest as usual and store in a heated safe is the best way to go. I have also had good luck with the Gun Socks and similar silicon-treated loose bag type things. Absolutely do NOT store it in a close plastic bag or in a leather holster or case. If you have nothing else a wool sock is good, it will protect the gun from scratches, wick moisture away and let the gun breath. Pretty much what the above guy said.

REAL long term storage? Buy a gallon of cosmoline, heat it to liquid form, then dip your gun until it is completely covered, and the bore is coated. Wrap it in heavy wax paper, and put it in a dry place. Military guns have been stored that way, and still look like new when up-packed a hundred years later.

Normal long term storage? Good info in the above posts.
