Hi, I don't have a great deal of knowledge of revolver problems. I bought a 19-3 and I saw something that may be a problem. With the cylinder open, I spin it and see the ejecter rod wobble slightly. I also see some wear/blue rubbed off on the outside egdes of three cylinders. (faceing the barrel) The cylinder isn't sticking or having rotation problems. Whats going on with it? Dave

The ejector rod is OK. As long as it does not stick it should be fine. If you do an action job on it it will need to be fixed.

Cylinder face should be OK also probably caused by lead build up at some point in time. If it is clean and it turns freely it should be OK

IMO someone probably played hollywood cop with it and slammed the cylinder shut by flipping their wrist.
The ejector rod is basically the axle for the cylinder...if its not straight the wheel (cylinder) will not rotate evenly causing the wear seen on those chambers. This can be fixed with a new ejector rod fairly easy if you are even remotely mechanically enclined.
You could probably shoot it this way for years with no troubles, or you may have trouble shooting cast bullets after a cylinder or two full.
