Need help with BUG for IDPA

I am planning to start shooting at IDPA matches. I am still up in the air if I will be using a 686 or 64 I own both so that is not much of a problem.

The problem is for the BUG section I already own pre lock pre MIM 60, 640 and 649. I do not want to wear down these guns at matches. I do own a post lock 649.

Which post lock BUG do you recommend 60 2 inch, 60 3 inch, 640 or 649? Thank you for all your help.

I voted for the M60 3" but if you shoot 38 I don't think
you will wear your guns out. You could also switch between
all the guns and enjoy all of them. Don

Shoot the one you carry. You can't go wrong with any of them although if forced to choose I'd go with the 640.

I don't know about your local BUG setup, but generally the round count is on the low side. I don't think you'll wear any of the guns out shooting them 50-60 rounds per month. I would lean toward the 3" 60.

I just have to agree with 7shooter: Shoot the one you carry. If the one you carry isn't good enough to be competitive, carry one that is competitive. I would start with the 3-in. Mod 60 myself.
