Need info on Warranty

If you buy a brand new gun, never fired with a blank guarranty card from a private individual, will the life time guarranty will apply to me?
The Smith & Wesson website call for " Original Owner " and even that the gun is new I'm not the one registered at the time of purchase.

I have never had S&W ask me if I was the original owner of any of my smiths that I had to send back. If you have a problem, they will make it right. Best of luck and hope this help's..

Yeah, everyone I have owned has been lifetime regardless of if I bought it new or bought it used.

Smith and Wesson...There is no substitute!
