Need some 38 DA help please

Been collecting SW's for quite some time, but swim primarily in the after 1956 HE's. In any case, I have a "need" for a 38 DA (3rd, 4th, 5th) isn't too important at this point (yet!). I want a blued version and just wonder what these are bringing in the "real" world. Prefer a 5" version. I have Supica's 3rd volume, but just wondered what they're really bringing.
I've found one here in NC fairly locally, 3rd model, 5", blued. Overall condition VG+ for $295 and since I don't see many for sale, have no context as to whether this is a decent price or not. Any help would be appreciated.

A 5 in. .38 DA with blue left and in good mechanical condition is probably going to bring the $295. Blued examples are not seen as much as the nickel finishes and 5 in. barrels are likewise uncommon, compared to the shorter barrels. If that's the gun you want, make an offer - you might own it for less money.

Thanks! Picked it up on Tuesday. Much nicer in person ~95% blue on frame, barrel, etc. and about 75% on cylinder. This is my first top break and now, I'm affraid, there'll be more.
