Need some advise on trigger pull 40VE

I just bought a new 40VE and just wondering if there is anything that can be done to the hard pull on the trigger.

Either just keep shooting it or send it to the Smith repair center in TX, contact info on S&W web site.

There are some range-only mods not recommended for defense use.

I sent mine in to S&W and she breaks at 5.5 now.
