Need Some Help

I know there are quite a few cigar aficionados on the forum, and unfortunately, I’m completely clueless. I have a longtime friend with an upcoming birthday and was thinking about getting him something in this genre. I don’t even have any idea what cigars he smokes……like I said, clueless! We don’t spend much on gifts, but I thought you folks might be able to help me come up with something. Any suggestions, ideas, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

My father smoked Dutchmasters like cigarettes. I think they made them out of what they swept off the floor at the cigar factory...and still lived to 83

Anything Fuente is usually a good smoke. Upmans are a nice cigar too.

I know where his favorite cigar shop/lounge is. I was thinking maybe I could stop by there and ask them if they know what he smokes. I guess it depends on how good a customer he is.
