I have owned a few different 40's over the years. Never was impressed with it. The best shooting one I had owned was a Ruger P94 but I ended up trading it off for a rifle I wanted. Had a bunch of 40 ammo, then got even more in a deal with an old friend who was trying to get the price down on a gun I had and he wanted. Tried selling all the 40 ammo but after hauling it to a few gunshows, even priced less than retail it didn't move off my table.
Last year AIM Surplus had LE trade in M&P 40's at a very cheap price so I bought one just to have something to shoot the ammo in. Darn thing shoots so well I've since bought more 40 ammo and started reloading it as well!
