On 7/16/09, I listed a S&W 1006 (among others) for sale on various forums.
At 6:07pm, Tacoma213 posted "I'll take the 1006!" on Sig Forum: FS: S&W 1006, 39, 29-3 (AL) - Topic Powered by Eve For Enterprise
At 6:17pm, Tacoma213 posted "I'll take the 1006!" on S&W Forum: http://smith-wessonforum.com/guns-sale-trade/92834-fs-s-w-1006-39-29-3-alabama.html
At 6:19pm, I sent Tacoma213 an email message regarding the 1006.
At 6:26pm, I sent Tacoma213 a PM on S&W Forum regarding the 1006.
During the next 24 hours, I noted via his profile on S&W Forum ( http://smith-wessonforum.com/members/tacoma213.html ) that Tacoma213 had logged in multiple times, yet did not respond to my PM or email. After 24 hours had elapsed, I contacted the next person (via timestamp) who had contacted me regarding the 1006.
At present, I still have not received any contact from Tacoma213.
It seems to me that someone jumping to post "I'll take it!" should follow through with their word, or at least have to courtesy to contact the seller and explain why they can't/won't follow through.
