Never go to the gunshop wanting a S&W shield

Went to my local gunshop this morning seeking info when my 2 shield 9mm,s I had ordered would arrive(maybe 2 months).I ended up trading my ruger speed six(stainless)9mm even up for a M&P 9mm with night sites. coobie

Yep, that's the way it works. On a whim I stopped in a small gun store in a small town and casually asked if they had ever seen an M&P Shield. They said that they had one arriving an hour later. They also said that a person was calling every day checking to see if any had arrived. Naturally I waited until it arrived, with the intention of just looking at it. Fat chance! I walked out with it.

You definitely got the best end of that trade. I'm surprised the shop would make that trade. I would have expected to leave a couple o' "C" notes too.
