Picked up my new 21-4 about an hour ago.
Need to make a pair of Fuzzy Farrant type
grips out of the ebony I picked up. Follow
that by a holster or two. This one is the
CCH model and has a horendus bore, will get
a good cleaning tonight and see if it needs
anything more than that (like a little bore
lapping). Pics from auction.

Scrubbed the bore and it turned out pretty
good. Not sure if there is range time tomorrow
or not (waiting on niece to come along to shoot
the new Savage rifle I bought for her to use).
Picked up the CorBon 165gr JHP and Speer Gold
Dot 200gr GDHP (only thing they carried). This
being Calif I will likely end up using the
CorBon DPX rounds once I get some in, then will
cast a load with the 215gr mould I have coming
to match.

Very attractive and you won't see its like in every holster.

After you try a few loads, hope it shoots accurately and to POA for you.

Again, very nice item.

Regards,

Dyson

Very nice. If it is at all like my 21-4, it'll shoot POA with 200 grain bullets over 7 grains of Unique or 240 grain over 7.5 grains of Unique. That'll be a nice shooter. Enjoy.

Calif has instigated a no-lead ammo law in about
1/2 of the state (anti's use the Calif Condor
for their reasoning) as of July 1, 2008.

I have the very same gun and I love it. I had Patrick Grasshorn make me a set of 3/4 coverage magna style elk grips for it. I also have a 22-4 like it. they both are great shooters and I love the CCH done by Turnbull. I have a Ruger Flat Top he did to.Maybe they have MIM and a sidelock but I can live with it.

That's just for hunting, right?

Can you use jacketed ammo to shoot the condors?
