I picked up a new 327 using the proceeds of the sale of two autos that were gathering dust. This is my first N frame and my first 8 shooter. I got the snub nose (naturally) with the 2 inch (?) snout.
Shooting a couple of boxes of .38s through it showed good groups once I settled down and learned how to use the sights. I did a number of drills for defensive shooting and found the gun worked very well. Trigger, as from the factory, is quite good. A smooth pull and I noticed no staging.
I am undecided about the grips so far. They have a little play in them and when I grip the pistol in my arthritic hand death grip, I can hear some popping that I don't like.
All in all, I am very happy with the purchase. Based on reading a couple of threads here, I am going to look for a good belt holster and a pocket holster. I plan to use this gun a lot and am excited about the performance and ease of shooting.
Any holster/carry advice from other 327PD owners most welcome.
Edited to add: I guess I don't have a PD but just a snubby 327.
