New 9 VE and New board member!

I have read quite a bit about the 9VE's and decided to order one. I've held one, but never shot it. It feels super good to me, fits just right. Besides the new pistol cleaning, and possible trigger mod (I kinda like a stiffer trigger, but will probably try to mod it if needed to resemble the pull on my carry revolver) is there anything else I need to do/watch out for/etc.? Any nice accessories I should get? What about holsters....I need something for my truck and also a IWB style.

Send it to LSG Manufacturing in Texas to Frank Smith. His contact information is on the last page of the manual.

He will make the trigger smoother for free, he will also pay for priority overnight shipping both ways. My turnaround time was 3 days, he & his company are absolutely first class.

Thanks...I went ahead and e-mailed him for instructions. I am also ordering a .40 VE Monday so I will probably send them together.

My Sigma has about 600 rounds through it without any issues.

Not sure if you have shipped a firearm before but my first time was when I shipped it to Frank. Make sure you go to a FedEx hub, not one of those shipping/packing stores.

Any other advice/accessories/holsters, etc I should look at? Any certain ammo this thing likes?

What does LSG do to the SIGMA's? I got a 9VE last week and I love it. I didn't think the trigger was bad, but if he can improve it I'm for it.

I sent my SW9VE to Frank and the repair ticket (written by hand which is unusual in this age where everything is computerized) says that he replaced the striker. He also replaced the front sight. As I have replied in other posts, I sent my gun in on a Saturday and had it back the following Thursday. On top of that, Frank apologized for taking so long!
