**UPDATE - Scroll down to post #20**

Will soon be receiving this custom made rifle by Flaig's in PA with a W. W. Greener action on a custom stock chambered in .22 Rem Jet.

I have always wanted a rifle chambered in the Jet and I think this one is going to be a good one. Pretty sure there are not many rifles in this chambering out there, and really fortunate to have found this one of a kind piece.

Will update the photos when the rifle is in hand, but here's one from the seller in the meantime.

I've got a classic early adjustable objective Leupold 3-9x40 that will work well on this one!

Here is the seller's description:

"WW Greener, Model Custom, Flaig's .22 Jet Cal., MFG. 1900-65, SN: 1161, Lever Action Falling Block, 20 1/2'' round barrel, The two tone, wood cap pistol grip stock has raised cheek & forend tip. The stock remains excellent, with some scuffs on forearm. The metal blue is 98%. Bore is excellent, Fitted with Weaver scope mounts, No sight provisions. Fajen buttplate. High quality Unusual lever operated custom rifle."

I had a BSA Cadet, Assie issue. Caliber 22 Ackley Jet. Douglas barrel and stocked with Fajen BA stock. Lever formed into loope. Might have kept it but it was heavy for what it was. Shot very well.

That must have been a nice shooter!

I am set up with brass/dies for the .22 Rem Jet since I have a Model 53 in the safe, so it only made sense to pursue this rifle.

Really looking forward to shooting it!

I haven't got a lot of experience with 22 Jet rifles but found 50-55gr bullets did much better for accuracy in my Ackley Jet. I have nice picture of rifle but having trouble bringing it up. I made all my brass from 357 mg because I didn't want to sacrifice Jet brass.

There is currently new .22 Rem Jet brass available online.

Look forward to the photo when you can get it posted.

My Ackley Jet wasn't marked and was a sleeper from an estate because nobody involved knew what it was. I didn't know what it was myself.

This one being marked ".22 JET" will hopefully be the .22 REM JET

I would assume that Flaig's would have stamped it with the word "Ackley" if was chambered that way.

I had a Greener sxs waterfowl gun once. It is described as a lower end double by English standards but I can assure you if Greener put their name on it there won't be anything "lower end" about it. They had high standards. I've seen a few of their Martini and cross bolt actions. They invented choke boring and a few other things. Enjoy. ;)

That's a sweet gun buddy, glad you finally snagged a rifle in .22 Jet. Love the Martini rifle. Nice wood on it, bet you are excited. Had one in.310 Cadet, 357 Mag and still have a 12/15 in .22 Long Rifle. Put a red dot on the .22 for indoor shooting at 50 ft. The pics show shooting at 100 yards. The Cadet has one of the fastest lock times in a rifle. Popular to customize. Load some ammo, we will be watching for a range report. Larry

I must say that is one beautiful rifle, here's wishing that you have many hours of enjoyment with it. I have a martini cadet that the barrel needs fitting and it's original wood. then two of the 12/15 variety all 22rf's. Some days I go to the range with some ammo and just shoot paper. About 20 minutes from home so couldn't get any better. Frank

Didja get it yet? That gun is sweet. Today at the retired guys shoot, I did a tribute to your gun. It was Martini day. Shot the Hammerli free pistol which is a small Martini Action and took the 12/15 Martini rifle with a red dot. Fun day!

Remember we need a range report when you get it, Larry

Larry,

The gun will be shipped sometime next week, so it will be a couple weeks until I have a scope installed and ready for a range trip.

Will certainly post more photos and range results.

Received the rifle today, very pleased out of the box.....installed a Leupold 3-9 scope and cleaned her up a bit. Has some scuffs on one side of the forend, no other issues noticed. Now to get it out to sight in and shoot some factory and reloaded ammo.

My guess is it will be a tack driver.

And a very compact package to boot!

The statistics are as follows:
Weight is 7 pounds 6 ounces with scope
OAL is 36-1/2"
Barrel is 21" long
LOP is 13-3/4"
