Maybe it's simply my paranoia, but if I was going to post a lovely picture of the Smith & Wesson factory letter for my gun, I would block out the serial number. Nobody needs to know the serial number of your gun. Absolutely nobody needs to know the serial number of my gun.

I don't see any problem...A serial number is not going to hurt me...
