I'm rereading the Jeff Guinn B&C book "Going Down Together" and will check this TV move out. but it really seems very stylish and glossy in the previews. Maybe HD modernizes it too much, too. But these two losers who did dress pretty nice, camped out and basically lived in their car. Relatives and their kidnap victims said there was nothing glamorous about them in their constant traveling. If they make Frank Hamer look like an idiot like the 1967 movie did I'll turn it off. but William Hurt looks grizzled enough and appears to have the right attitude in the couple scenes I've seen. There appears to be lots of cool guns of the era in action, too which looks pretty good.

The one with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway was always one of my favorites. I've always realized it was far from being true to the facts though.

From the pictures I've seen of Bonnie, she was not too attractive. The movies all make her out to be a fox.
In the '67 movie they appeared to be carrying 1917 S&W revolvers. That sounds close to correct, although I have read when they searched the car they kilt them in they had a few 1911 Colts and a .32 ACP pistol, as well as a BAR and a few shotguns.

I got to see the car about 40 years ago. Dang there were a lot of bullet holes in it!

From what I've seen advertised, it looks like another attempt by Hollywood to glamorize a group of murderous thugs by using handsome actors, beautiful women and sex as bait. I'll probably end up watching it but you know what they say about first impressions!

I'm wondering why it is scheduled to air on the History Channel, A&E, and Lifetime simultaneously? I'll check it out, but the vibes I get tell me I probably will not watch it through. For those of you wondering it is scheduled as two parts. Part 1 Sunday 9:00 to 11:00 PM (EST) and Part 2 during the same time frame on Monday, on those three networks. Following each showing is a repeat showing. When I was a kid there were only three networks.

ABC, NBC, and CBS. Oh, and a boring PBS. And opposed to the three million channels I have now, I always found stuff to watch back then.
When I was around eleven years old me and my friends saw Bonnie and Clyde at the show about four times. I thought it was great, especially the ending.
