I got the Oct Cheaper than Dirt Catalog in the mail today. They are on my never to buy from list but I did look through it for ammo prices. You can buy a 25 round box of Golden Sabers 124 gr +P for $39.79 a box OR you can buy a 50 round box of 124 gr+P bonded for $41.97 a box. Tough choice isn't it?

I renamed them "not" cheaper than dirt many years ago.

It's not a Cheaper Than Dirt catalog, it's a Cheaper Than Dirt Sucka catalog. Mine goes straight to the shredder. Darn shame they've turned into the company they are today.

Cheaper Than Dirt

I do not buy from Cheaper Than Dirt!
Several years ago we bought from them. A short time later we found our credit card number was used to try to buy a computer on line. We lost the use of a credit card until a new one arrived.

What 5906fan said. They used to be good, but greed led to serious gouging. They've lost many customers as a result.

I still look through the catalog for items that grab my attention.... then search for them cheaper on just about any other web site.

I won't buy anything from CTD. They won't ship ammo or components to Massachusetts. They made a deal with the Attorney General not to sell that stuff here to avoid being sued even though there is no law against it. Midway USA in another one who caved in. These places like to tell everyone in the shooting community how much they support our rights but as soon as the bottom line gets involved they fold like a cheep tent!

Kinda what he said. I look through the rag to see if there is anything i need ... er, want ... then see if one of the local brick n' mortars has it.

Bend Over

You mean 39.99 for 50 rounds of S&B .380 FMJ is not a fair price? What a joke. I just paid $37 for 50 hydra-shoks (still too much) at the last gun show. I hope they are out of business soon... You have to credit their cajones for actually printing such obscenities.

It's such a bad name for a business anyway. To me it denotes complete lack of any professionalism. Plus their prices are consistently higher then most other places.

Actually were I live before the construction downfall. Dirt, as in fill dirt was extremely expensive. Haulers were actually stealing it from remote landowners.
