new compact m&p

I'm going to get a new m&p .40 compact in the next thirty days, i love the full size i have.
Two questions first, i was a day late on my last one to make the two mag. deal and they have declined to honer it.
So, is there a two mag deal coming up i should wait for? And is there any problems i should look for with the compact, and if so, what serial number should i look for? Thanks blue

We won't know about the next rebate until S&W announces it. With M&P's flying off the shelf everywhere, they may not need to do another rebate on them for quite some time.

I believe that all the early issues with the M&P have been addressed. And, with a lifetime warranty, I'm not sure I would be too concerned about any future issues that may or may not show up. Even if you had a slide crack in 10 years and after 10,000 rounds, S&W will replace it. How cool is that?
