Hi, all!
I'm waiting for delivery of my first S&W and my first revolver. My new 442 no lock should be here next week.

I currently have two carry guns a SIG P220 Carry in .45 acp (my first love), and a SIG P 239 gen II SAS in .40 S&W (my newest, and now my main, carry gun).

I also have a Kel-Tec PF9 that was to be my main carry piece, especially in summer shorts pocket, but it was just not reliable enough for me, so it is now for sale in my LGS and will be replaced by the 442.

I had a mantra of not carrying anything smaller than 9mm, and have now added "no more cheap guns". The only gun I could find that would be small and light enough for pocket carry, and as reliable as my SIG's, was a S&W revolver...so here I am.

I served in Viet Nam in '67 - '68, have been married for 35 years to the same old woman (hope she doesn't see this), have two kids that don't live here any more...YEAH, and am pretty close to retiring.

Guess that about sums it up for me...
I've already learned a lot from lurking here (like which gun I wanted) and expect to learn a lot more. Maybe I'll even be able to contribute some of my knowledge to others eventually.

CTM,

Welcome from Missouri! I'm just a few miles north of you....

Welcome to thre Forum. A lot of knowlegable folks here. I was supposed to go to Lee Summit for a wedding this last weekend but had to work. Maybe we can get together for a cup of coffee sometime. when I am in the KC area visiting relatives. Mike

Welcome form your neighbor to the East, Illinois. We have members in our club (Pike Adams Sportsman's Alliance) from Lee's Summit. Bob milled my 1911 slide for Bomar's a few years ago.

What a coincidence, we had a wedding, for some friends, at our house last weekend.

Give me a holler when you're going to be here...we'll see if we can get together.

Chet

Welcome from Texas CTM. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Welcome aboard, CTM. There are a lot of Missourians here so you should feel at home immediately. I'm a bit west of St. Louis so we are neighbors, near enough.

Chris

Welcome to the forum from the Forest City of the Ozarks and a fellow 67-68 Vietnam veteran. Lots of great folks here willing to share their passion and knowledge. Enjoy.
