Hello everyone. I have been reading posts for a few weeks now and thought I would jump in. You guy and gals are some serious "Smith" fans. I have been a licensed insurance investigator for the last 13 years, but before that, I worked in three different gun shops over an eight year period (from 1988 until 1996). Those were the days as far as buying and trading at reasonable prices went. I would not consider myself an expert at anything, but I have handled a lot of handguns and even owned a few nice ones. My collection is kinda limited right now, but the handguns I have are all pretty nice. I'm thinking my 19-3 is my current favorite. I'm here mostly to look, listen and learn. But maybe I can add some semi-intelligent input every once in awhile. Especially as far as what was available from S&W, or any other manufacturer, during the late 80's to mid 90's. Well thats about it for now. Great forum. Thank you for your time.
