Hello Everyone,
I am new here and I have posted a short intro post in introductions. Now I need info on a S&W 9mm model 459 that I am buying this week.I would like to know if there is a laser sight,or
laser grips that would fit it.I found a slide with adjustable sights for just under $300.00
I am disabled so I cant afford to have alot of major work done to it but I would like to try to do a few things.I already called S&W today and they said to reblue it back to its original state would be 180 plus shipping but as for any any type of sights etc I needed to look aftermarket. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find parts to modify it.I can do the work(all but blueing and machining)myself.I was a machinist in my younger days but I have no access to a shop so I will have some things done if its not to expensive.I am a Army Vet and the son of a WWII Navy Vet(R.I.P.Dad)and I grew up with all sorts of firearms so I am no stranger to working on a weapon.

Thanks
Slik

The 459 is a second generation model. It has been out of production for almost 20 years. They are a fine weapon if you want to use it as is. If you want to add bells and whistles, I would suggest a 5906 or a 5904. Crimson Trace laser grips are available for the third generation weapons as well as other accessories.
