Well, sandy beaches are very nice, I like to walk on them especially at night. But after 70 years of sandy beaches I was very glad to see some variety. I've always seen the Maine cliffs on TV. Remember "Dark Shadows"?:D

I remember it. My parents didn't want me watching it, made it all the more appealing.... :ROFLMAO:

I have watched a few episodes of Dark Shadows many years ago. Do you remember Roger Davis? He played in 1968-70. He also worked on Alias Smith and Jones after Pete Duel died. I did a publicity photo with him and my brother in high school. He was a past graduate of the school (Castle Heights Military Academy) and the pic showed up in our local newspaper. I am the guy in the middle. I think he was doing Alias Smith and Jones at the time. He told us a good joke to get us to smile.

I went to Old Orchard Beach once. I was all set in my bathing suit and then I touched the water. I got my toes wet and said that is enough for me. It was summer too. I saw an older gentleman go out in the water and I thought no one is looking at him and if he has trouble, because I am watching him, I will have to go out. Luckily for me he did not have any trouble and later I thought he must have grown up doing that. I have swum in a couple of Maine lakes, and they didn't seem too bad temperature wise.

I live in Hermon. That is near Bangor in case you don't know we border it to the West of Bangor. That pic is maybe 15 or more years old and I still have the hair only somewhat more gray.
