been carrying my sig p365 in cargo shorts pocket in warm weather . slow to draw out of pocket but i sacrifice that for the convienece . like many others here in colder weather its bout always jeans . have come to realize that my jeans pockets are occupied with other stuff to not have an option for the 365 i usually have on me .
checked out some holster web sites and decided on versa carry owb rig that has a spare mag attachment to the holster . distressed buffalo hide with belt to match. prices were great ! $76 for the whole rig . i have holsters from kramer , elpaso sadlery , & mitch rosen .... so it will be in darn good company. the pictures of the versa carry stuff looked to be well made & comfortable . in particular the brown distressed which is what i ordered . settled for the standard belt figuring no heavier than the sig is , that should be way adequate .
anyone else try this versa carry line ? looking forward to getting this rig !

I looked at those holsters. I don't like the extra mag. on the holster. For me, it puts the magazine on the wrong side and it also might get in the way of a good draw. Kydex is my preferred holster material for actual daily carry.

Right there with ya'.

My spare mag goes in my off-hand pocket, since that is the hand I'll be using to put it into the magwell.

I just picked up a used Aliengear hybrid IWB for $15. Their plant is only about 10 miles from my house so I stopped by theiir shop and took advantage of their free shell exchange to trade the Makarov shell that was on it for one to fit my P365.

I already had one of their holsters for my PT145 and a Tagua of a very similar design for my LC9. Personally, I much prefer IWB over OWB for concealment.

The Aliengear hybrid is far and away the most comfortable IWB holster I have ever worn - and I own a BUNCH of them of different styles for different guns. Theirs is the only one that I literally can't even feel it a lot of the time when I'm wearing it. And at $50 with a lifetime warranty and free shell exchange if you change pistols they are a great value too.

lots of choices ....

on holster carry options , holster material , cant of weapon choice , lined or unlined , etc. admittedly the spare mag will be somewhat more difficult to get into action . i have never tried this type set up with the spare mag on the holster side , attached . its trial & error i do believe . if i ever have to empty the mag already in the gun & go to the spare mag to use also , i am in one dandy of a shootout ! pray it never takes place . if i wear it a bit & do not like it , i will go to an other option .
kydex . . . . mostly not for me . i have a kydex rig for my g19 that is iwb and i do not like it . very uncomfortable to wear . tried to make myself break it in but it was no use . for most applications leather is still king for me .
crossbreed holsters & probably a few other makers , incorporate kydex w/ leather & that is a thoughtful option. if i ever turn to kydex again ? , it would be the leather combo i would likely be able to live with .

After having purchased a Pole.Craft IWB for my 1911 Commander, and wearing it for an extended period, I gained a new appreciation for IWB kydex. Since I have a P365 en route, I felt that I should have a holster duo (IWB & OWB) for the little marvel. I picked up a set of Blue Star Holsters (IWB & OWB) for the P365 with the Lima 365, for just under $50, using the Veteran's Day discount. Wearing that little holster empty around the house, and you never really notice it!

holster arrival

today . versa carry owb & belt . looks very well made & darn impressive for the price ! will wear it in next few days
