Some new leather for S&W revolvers.

SimplyRugged 240 for a 4" 686-3. A basic piece of folded leather, somewhat molded, with a belt-tunnel sewn on the back and a tension screw. Very functional for open carry, range, camping, etc.

A Bianchi Model 57 Remedy for a 642-1 PC. Made in Mexico. Overall very nice. Is the type of pancake holster where the back panel is somewhat more flat than the more molded front panel. As described by Bianchi "This model features deep contour molding on the front of the holster for improved comfort and to reveal the shape of the handgun it secures." 1.5" belt slots, but I chose to lengthen them slightly with a Dremel and a cylindrical steel burr bit. They are now perfect. For when I don't pocket carry the 642.

And a Barranti EK No8 for a 4" 28-2. I've posted this one before, but never get tired of looking at it. For BBQ, weddings, etc.

And this Aker thumb snap duty holster for 4" N frame. Very solid workmanship. This has a basic rear belt tunnel, and Aker apparently doesn't make this model anymore.

Leather is always nice to have.
I tried Kydex and just find them uncomfortable for long periods of wearing.

I'm a leather guy, too...and have holsters from Mernickle, Lobo, Backwoods, Shado, Hunter, Galco, Bianchi, Bucheimer, Malabar Gunleather, and 1791. For hammer guns I prefer to have a leather shield on the back to protect against the hammer spur digging into my body.
