New M&P 40 S&W

Picked up a M&P 40 Pro Series today at my favorite gun store. The store is in Hudson Fl. on Rt. 52 (Ol Time Gun Shop) the owner Mike is a great guy always gives be a good deal. I don't own stock in the company . I have a hard time seeing the sights on many of my guns and I saw that this gun had a easy way to install a red dot. I had a Burris Fastfire III sitting in the safe and I installed it tonight. Will see if I can get to the range to see if I can see the target

Had the gun out today for the first time. Put 100 rounds of FMJ thru it. All worked fine. The red dot was great on this gun, The dot was right on top the front sight. I have to adjust it a little I will do it on the next trip. I put all rounds in a body target in the black from head to chest at 7 yds.

Definitely a nice piece but, you may get more oohs and aahs on the M&P forum. Enjoy.
