Well, got a screaming deal yesterday on a new 15-22 and now I'm trying to decide what I want to do it now. I now have one threaded and one non threaded barrel gun. So, I'm thinking of making an SPR clone out of the plain barrel and transferring my current accessories to the threaded gun along with some sort of fake suppressor..
So, has anyone mounted a magpul UBR stock to a 15-22. If not, what is the most stable carbine style stock. I'm currently running a magpul acs stock and like it OK. Just checking my options.

Since you have to replace the buffer tube to use the UBR, it's a no go on the 15-22. I like the STR on mine and the friction lock is pretty tight giving me no wiggle at all. But I think the difference between the STR and ACS is just personal preference.

If you want rock solid stock use a Magpul FCS (fixed carbine stock) all that is required is to file a small notch for the retaining screw. You can use a .50 butt pad if extra length is needed. The 15-22 is so versatile you can swap parts until the final product satisfies you (and your wallet) .

Anybody have a good source for a magpul AVAILABLE stock? And are these guns mil-spec or commercial tube? I'm running a PTS stock on my gun now, so those with airsoft info are good too...
