Greetings, all!

(And thanks in advance to forum founders, mods and admin)

New member here from the Hickory-Morganton area of West N. Carolina.

My first S&W is a vintage Mdl 39 I bought from a late (dearly beloved, terribly missed) in-law and then,

I used to shoot Bullseye so own several Mdl 41’s and 52-2’s (which I intend to someday get back into reloading for, sigh)

More recently we are up to at least half a dozen 15-22’s in different iterations ranging from stock for plinking to Steel Challenge

I discovered this forum while on the Bullseye-L, TRYING TO FIND AN ACCURATE LIST OF PARTS INTERCHANGEABLE BETWEEN THE MDLS 39 and 52-2.

Anyhoo, thanks for this forum and a blessed day to all!

Hello from northeast Georgia. We have a home in Rabun county. I have friends who recently retired and moved to Hayesville and Sylva. Western NC is beautiful.

Welcome from just south of you in Lincoln county. I no longer have my 41's but have a pair of 52-2's. Still trying to sort out an ejection / extraction problem on one. Oh well....

And a....

And a Hound Dawg Howdy to you from SC!:)

My SIL and her daughter may be relocating to the Wilksboro area. They have a nice spread up there. And that's some of my favorite country in the whole wide world, though I've lived in the swamp my entire life.

You're in good company here, I live in the Startown area of Newton, lived in Morganton for about 5 years in the late 1970's-early 1980's. BigDave here is from Morganton and he and I officially met this past week and realized how many of the same people we know. Then there is g-dad and rover who also live nearby. I'm sure there are more who might check in later. I own a M41 from 1985 and love to shoot it, but as I age, my bulls-eye is more like a dinner plate. I'd love a M52, such an odd bird cartridge. Welcome.

Oops, I was thinking of the M53 .22 centerfire. In the inimitable words of Rosanne Rosanadana, "never mind".
