Welcome from Virginia!

Stick around...you will find this Forum most entertaining on anything Smith & Wesson, and I'm happy to note that you already understand "rule number 1" with your first post, and that is "No pictures...it didn't happen":D

PS: Even though a few on here won't admit it......most of us enjoy other brands of guns too....long and short.....so feel free to post others you may have, even those revolvers that have cylinders rotating the wrong way, Mil-surps, semi-auto pistols.

If you have ANY questions about anything, remember that we are a great bunch of enablers....that is we love to help you spend your money. So what's next up for that new Smith..optics, bipod, tactical gear, etc. et. al. ad infinitum..;)

Wow, and I thought things were bad in the UK! How the hell do you hold the thing with no pistol grip?!

Welcome by the way! :)

Oops. I promise my 2nd post won't have a picture. :)

Ask my girlfriend, I don't have any problem spending money.

On a 22 LR it isn't bad (no recoil). I can get my middle, ring finger and thumb wrapped around that little grip. Unfortunately, according to New York State, a pistol grip, muzzle brake of any kind, adjustable stock, vertical fore end grip on a semi automatic is evil if you can remove the magazine. If the magazine is fixed in place then you can do almost anything. But who wants a fixed magazine on an AR frame?
