Greetings,
This is my first post since joining the forum yesterday. I started enjoying revolvers in the early eighties when I bought a 686 6" to participate in weekly bowling pin shoots at On Target range in Pleasantville NJ. I wish that range was still there and I wish I still had that gun. Fast forward — I took the plunge and purchased part of a S&W revolver collection yesterday from a very nice collector at my local range. I hope to do more deals with him soon. My favorite pickup from yesterday is a 627 5.5". Planning to spend time here on the forum and learn lots of interesting facts about each of my new old guns. I will post details about each one in the appropriate places in the coming days. I also mailed an application for S&WCA yesterday
Looking forward to interacting here on the forum...
State of my small, but growing S&W revolver collection:
340 snub nose
66 4"
686 2.5"
629 6"
627 5.5"
696 3"
60 snub nose
