The more I look, the more good stuff I find on the internet. This forum was hiding from me. I've used S&Ws since my dad gave me a M10 38 Spec. when I went off to college in the 60's. My favorites are a 4in. model 29, a 686 357, and a group of model 39's. I believe m39's are under appreciated. Modern ammo has improved the effectiveness of the 9mm. Lately I,ve acquired a model 41, older model, that is going to be a LOT of fun. Where can I find out when it was made? From what I've read here so far, you fellas and I will get along fine....Thanks for inviting me to join. Call me Ed, user name edberry. I don't mind anyone knowing who I am...
