New member from Wisconsin!

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and just a year into learning handguns (with any focus, anyway). First gun was an M&P 1.0 Full, then last fall got an M&P 2.0 Full and Shield. I just purchased my first revolver (S&W 686+ PC) which I should get this week. Did several weeks of range tests vs Rugers, and S&W came out on top.

I now live in Wisconsin, but earlier in life lived in NJ, MA and CA. Talk about an upgrade from a 2A standpoint...

Welcome from Lake County, IL ... I too have lived under the oppresive thumb of The Peoples' Republik of Massachusetts. Was there for 17 years.
If you're anywhere near greater Racine, check out Wisconsin Sportsmans in Union Grove. I shoot there about twice a month. The rules are reasonable, the facility is clean, and the people are friendly.
I'm a bit jealous of you picking up the 686. I'm pining after a 586 (blued steel version) with a 6" barrel. Would be a Range Queen.

Hi Zarr, thank you for the welcome. I lived in Westborough, worked in Needham. Was great at the time! (though I wasn't into firearms yet).

I'm still a Red Sox and Patriots fan, was there in 2001 for first SB and in 2004 for first WS win in a millennium. Fun times! But to live in Wisconsin, I've also a Packers fan (good thing, or they wouldn't give me a drivers license ).
