New member ; New 15-22

Hi everyone my name is Joe. Joined the forum a few weeks ago when I started looking at the 15-22.

I found a great deal at the gun show last weekend and am now the proud owner of a 15-22. I picked up a model with the threaded barrel and flash hider for $435 cash out the door.

I am planning a FDE paint job in the near future.
Thought I'd post a few pics and list the accessories i have on it.

NcStar 3-9x42 illuminated red/green rubberized scope
NcStar red/green reflex sight mounted on a 45 degree picatinny mount
Magpul FDE MBUS sights
Fab Defense Mag well grip
Gripod
Larue Tactical Index Clips

and of course Masterlock Trigger Lock ( I have kids)

Looks very good! Are you left handed? If not try the reflex sight on the right side of the gun. The reason is if use a cheek weld position to fire from wich is the correct way while firing from the shoulder you only have to slightly rotate the rifle to use either the scope or sight.
I can use either my scope or red dot almost simultaneously with little movement of the gun and no movement from my head.

While on the left side and your right handed you have to pull your head off the stock to use the sight.
A good cheek weld to the stock makes shots more consistent and accurate.

I think the open lense caps, And reflex sight glass and the non matching folding sights make it look "Busy" but it has no more mounted to his rifle than most here.
Plus he just bought it, He will see what works and what doesn't and most likely stuff will come off or replaced once its "value" is realized.
