Hello all,

Just putting a feeler question out there... I ordered my M&P .45 Fullsize through Turners outdoors march 31st. Called to check on the delivery status April 30th. The only answer I got was, "could be a couple more months!" Anyone have a similar wait time? I live in sourthern California, originally wanted the .45 in the 4", but the california gun list only has the 4.5" barrel other than the compact.

From what I've seen everywhere the M&P45 is a hard gun to find. I traded for the 2 that I have...haven't ever seen one in person at a gun shop. Bud's Gun Shop in Lexington KY has 2 or 3 different models in stock and they offer free shipping. Might be worth checking Bud's out and cancelling the order through Turners...unless they'd be the one doing the FFL transfer then they might frown on that.

I've got 2 of them. One has the 4.5" the other the 4" bbl. Both full size grips. I had to swallow the TS on both (until the delete plates arrived) and the 4.5" was used. Both are great, but took some hunting to find locally.

Have this 4" .45 and have nothing but good things to say about it.
Not about to abandon my M1911's, but if I was CONSIDERING it, this would handily take a Commander's place....

I've carried a full size for the past three years and shot quite a few rounds thru it to date. Great pistol. Recoil springs may start getting tired by 5000 rounds, but most manufactures recommend replacement at around that time anyway.

I just got a 4.5" from grabagun and haven't shot it yet! (will sunday) It has been hard to find, but GaG just got some in last week, and I jumped on it, don't know if they have any left.
