Back with a S&W after 4 long years. Sold my M&P 9mm fs a few years ago and bout a Xdm 9mm w/threaded barrel about a year after... always kicked myself for doing it.

A good friend wanted my Xdm for not much less than I had in it this past week.

The M&P 2.0 40c 4" was on sale at my local PSA store. So I jumped on the opportunity and sold the Xdm 9mm and opted for the M&P 2.0 40 cal compact.

Waiting on ammo atm but want to shoot it asap and see how it handles.

Absolutely love the new stippling and the size vs my Xdm.

Ordered 2 extra full size mags for it and a good bit of ammo for the range. Too bad none was in stock locally.

Don't care for the thumb safety but it's the only one they had in stock at the time.

I've already ordered the frame plugs to remove it later on if it doesn't grow on me.

Hi from Ohio!
Glad you could join us!
Carried a M&P 40 cal on duty for some years. Really liked the gun!

Thanks, should get to test it out on the range next week sometime.

Now thinking of getting a M&P 22lr compact for my Bday to practice with as well. Going to look at one next week when I go to PSA's range. If they have 22lr ammo in stock will rent one to try out.

Hoping its very close to the feel of my 40 compact. Would make good practice pistol for much less cost in ammo.

I haven't had a 22 pistol since Ruger Mark iii well over a decade ago. Just used it for plinking and ended trading it for something else that I cant even recall.
