Do the grips number to the gun

Original box papers and tool kit?

Value is about demand and condition = what someone is will to pay for a particular example of the model.

In the neighborhood of 700 bucks around here.

There was a lot of these brought back stateside from Puerto Rico after hurricane Marie and as recently as last year. Most were owned by security guards, police departments or were in police property clerks evidence lockers.

Yep, I bought a bunch of them (Model 13, Model 12, Model 66, 6904, 6906, and a couple of Berettas). Century Arms sold them by the truckload to Sportsman's Warehouse stores around the country, all from the Policia de Puerto Rico. The evidence guns had evidence numbers scratched into them, the issued guns didn't. Most were pretty rusty. The Model 15 above doesn't look like one of that disreputable crowd.

I don't have the box or paperwork. The serial # is on the butt & frame. The previous owner used it as a police officer circa 1967-68.
While I was picking up a 60-4 at my FFL this morning I looked at a 15-2 K517xx that's been there on consignment for over a year with no takers.Asking is $600 with Hogue rubber grips.I offered much less I think it would clean up after an ATF/Acetone bath for a week and then some light bronze wool and oil.Don't really need it so I didn't pursue it further.

I'm not up on prices, but figured these in good shape were about $500.00 guns. Lots of them out there and they're great shooters. I've had a '58 and a '68 for many years. Either gun will shoot as well as my Model 14 and it's supposed to be a target revolver.

Those are great guns. I've seen them at a few local gun shows in the $ 800 + range. Not many takers at those prices. For 5 - $600 I'd have picked one up.
