With the small pistol primer situation as it is, I was getting nervous and then I remembered these:

They are from my deceased grandfather's general store that he and my grandmother ran for years in Reddell, LA. They closed the store in the early 80's.

I don't now why he kept these as he did not reload. I also have no idea of how old they are but, I'm going to find out if they are still good. I suspect that they are. I have 500 of them.

Please pardon the blurry pic, a cortisone shot I received today has me a little shaky.

Anybody have any idea as to the age of these? TIA

You'll never know until you try them, but judging from the condition of the box they are probably fine.

Just one suggestion, though. The only negative possibilities are mis-fires, hang-fires and squibs. There is nothing about an old primer that could cause a dangerous pressure situation. Take a squib rod with you when you shoot these (always a good idea), and load them with lead bullets, not jacketed. If not already obvious, it is because a squib with a lead bullet is far easier to get out of the bore, and is a lot less likely to get stuck in the first place. Don't use starting or lower loads but something full-power or close that you have already found to be safe.
